Am I correct?
Where should I get a WALLET_ADDRESS from?
Download an LTC client or use a service?
What about transaction fees?

Let me try and help...(might be the blind leading the blind as I have just had my miner online since 26 December)

Since you can afford a D3 then spend a few $$$ and get a "Ledger Nano S" (About $150 USA). Set it up with a LTC wallet, then click on "Recieve" and it will give you an address for LTC.
Tis a good cold storage (ie off eht internet) for your coins. It uses a USB to plug into a computer. there are dozens of YouTube video ot there.

If you have a"Coin Base account You can create a LTC wallet, and it will generate a recieve address that you can use for your users name.

After you get a Nano, then simple take that address and go over to Coin Base and sent it from there to yur Nano.

I got "burned" trying a wallet from Free Wallet. Put in on my Android phone and sent some NEO that I had bought over on Binance. Well Free Wallet has had NEO undergoing Maintenance since Dec 23. I do not have a clew if my NEO arrive, is setting out in the Ether, and just became a ghost?? The old saying is "you get what you pay for" is certainly true. Free Wallet was free, but cost me almost $1000.00 .

My D3 is running well and clocking at 537 and pretty steady an 19.5 Ghz. Some day somebody will explain what HD means. Ever few hours on 1 board I will get a few.
