I know and appreciate what you are saying, however, what I was trying to better understand, is to learn how the site and pool work out the figures from what was there from before.
For instance on the:
https://kano.is/index.php?k=blocks page for previous months is says
Expected 10 blocks for December.
Now obviously for this month we have found none and there are no details. (Or at least I do not have any yet)
Will there be any once the next block kicks in and drops or how is it done please?
All those numbers are looking back based on statistics.
Here's one example:
https://www.coinwarz.com/calculators/bitcoin-mining-calculator/?h=29,479,000&p=0&pc=0&pf=0.00&d=1931136454487.72000000&r=12.50000000&er=17765.00000000&hc=0.00Statistically, we should be generating a block about once every 3 and a half days (a little less.) It is been about double that time since the last block. Based on statistics we should have hit 2 blocks by now. Now, there's a lot of chance involved day to day and month to month. In the long run, it all evens out. There will be some months where we hit blocks every 2 days, and months where it takes us a lot longer.
You can plug in the pool hashrate and the difficulty into any of these calculators and it'll show you the odds.
