Maid and any coins based on the Bitcoin blockchain are the easiest and safest to store offline.  Just deal with it as if you were dealing with Bitcoin.  Create a bitcoin paper wallet and send your Maids to this wallet.  That's it.
Later, to redeem them, use Omni Wallet.  Yep, that's it.

Yes. Until Maidsafe coins can be turned into the actual Safe coins, that the Maidsafe network will use, one needs to learn how to securely store Bitcoin.

I guess the Maidsafe/Safe project is one of the most long term projects in cryptoland - let's hope it will deliver before we are too old to enjoy the fruits of our investment!  Cheesy
