Devs are still hard at it, posted in slack earlier:

RE : The countdown on the website. It has been left at zero for a reason. You have no idea how many emails and messages we have received from people that didn't update before the deadline. To field some of these we have left the countdown at zero which clearly indicates that older wallets are no longer working, and that an upgrade is required now."
