The only realistic reason for someone to purchase an account would be to scam others, period.
I considered buying accounts to rent the signatures.
I haven't done it yet because I don't think it's lucrative enough, but it might make sense anyway.

You might want to read up on the more recent advances in seo. Don't bullshit me or yourself, you know for a fact that garbage links like this don't do anything anymore and could possibly hurt your rankings.

You didn't purchase them because you know that they aren't worth it and made you feel scummy, cmon admit it.

signature links from a bitcoin forum to a bitcoin related website are still good. your ranking won't suffer from it.

No seo worth his salt would tell you that forum links are worth any seo value at this point. You might get the occasional click through but as far as seo value is concerned, nada.
