I've made a cryptocurrency miner for donating to people in need. I still remember being a little kid and feeling helpless because I couldn't help the poor around me. Even now it is hard but I've hacked up something to help with this, you can see it here, https://hayzamjs.github.io/maden/. It uses some of your computers spare CPU cycles to mine cryptocurrencies such as Monero and Electroneum for charities around the globe.
