Only addicts are late from everything in their lives because they give gambling more importance than anything else and this makes them unaware about the responsibilities they have upon them as a member of one family. Due to this gambling, gamblers also become late from every place they are going to because they stop to play only one game at gambling spot but this one game changes into three or four.
Yes, most addicts are not time concious and they can easily loose their time at work or at whatever event and run to gamble because it takes a greater part of their lives and they can not live without. It's not limited to addicts alone but most gamblers tend to sneak in and out of work to gamble also.
And the problem is that it is difficult to tell if a person is addicted to gambling from the outside, you can tell someone is addicted to alcohol just by the smell of alcohol always lingering in that person all the time and by being drunk all the time but an addicted gambler looks completely normal and does not show any external signs of addiction.
