Well, from what I see in the help text of Pioneercoind I think this wallet won't support direct mining in the sense - connect asic on stratum to ip of wallet and mine. A more adequate solution for "solo mining" I believe would be to install and properly configure a mining pool (preferably on a linux box) restrict access to the pool and use adequate hashing power on your own pool for pcoin. Never bothered setting up a pool so far. See couple of running pcoin pools and get the idea of the software. Sorry I can't help further but I got no idea of setting this whole mess up and besides mining in a public pool is not bad too as long as the coin is supported
