Anyway, last time I checked Bitfinex still accepting new member.
Bitfinex doesn't accept new users anymore. Just try to sign up for a new account, and you'll see a notification pop up where they explain why they don't accept new users anymore. They'll open up again by January 15th they say.
Great thing for people is that Bitstamp, Gemini and GDAX are still allowing people to sign up. These are probably the most trustworthy exchanges in the industry, and they are still open for business.
Who wants to sign up at a stinking exchange as Bitfinex when you can sign up at one of the aforementioned exchanges? The only question for now remains how long before they halt new user registrations too......
I observed these also but even though they would accept new accounts, it would take a week for it to confirmed by their management. It is not every hour that they have that costumers service because i notice cryptpcurrency is now gaining popularity and people want to make accounts in different exchange sites to buy their own btc or just try how to make trades in those sites.
