I wonder if your project is over? It feels like your thoughts are good, but it's been two years ago and you want to know more.
Unlike projects that are straight clones of others, QORA is a custom project with a database that no one else uses. This particular database had been updated to a new version by the dev of that database, however, when he did this, he also changed the syntax of EVERY command. Also, he continually would not finish his new versions, and go back to add something else or fix something else. Never fully completing it.
This meant that we would either have to re-write QORA in every location that used the db (which is obviously quite a few) and/or we could maintain our own repo of the version that exists in QORA now, and fix the issues ourselves. We opted for the second option.
Now, let me ask you, could YOU do this? Yea, I didn't think so. Me either.
Finding this person was a task, not to mention dealing with other projects, trolls, and a bunch of nonsense over the last year.
Also, I have said this forever, that it would take a while to get things back in line, but apparently people think if you're not able to build your project in a short time, then it isn't worth looking at... which to me, seems totally backwards. If there is active development going on, but something is taking longer, that usually means it is going to have more than others, and that is exactly the case here.
Having no patience, is something I think of as a total 'plague of crypto', it's the 'I wanna get rich quick' sickness. I'm sorry that you have said sickness, and I hope you get well soon.
To all of those that DO understand what is going on here. please download and test the new version for us. Thank you.
