I don't think we'll see ethereum hit $2k that soon. It's only a matter of time until bitcoin rises again. February might be bitcoins month.
So January is ETH's month then? How can you be so sure that February might be bitcoins month?
I'm really a doubter of ETH in the beginning although I own a few amounts, but it looks like this massive bull run will continue to peak and will reach $2K this month. But reaching the price of bitcoin is far fetch for me. Actually $2K is, but it looks like a lot of investors are now trusting ETH more than ever.
With the increase in price of ETH and it has a chance the price will reach to even more than 2000$, I don't know bitcoin price is decreasing in the market and it makes ETH to increase it's price.
Yes, the ever mutual relationships of Bitcoin and ETH, when one is down, the other one enjoys because the price is going up. I'm not telling that Bitcoin investors are going to ETH, because I didn't have the time to check everything at Coinmarketcap but it looks like that this is the case. Its was a clear trade-off.
