Hi everyone, so I have a following rig: 4* Gainward 1070 ti, Asus Z270-p, Intel Celeron G3930, 2*650 W Corsair PSU, risers are all powered directly from PSU (pci-e to molex), Win 10 pro.
Everything is running flawlessly except 1 GPU. Current OC settings are: 80 % power, 72 temp limit, +150 core, +600 mem, GPUs running at around 70-80 C.
I am running Nicehash legacy miner. During mining, the OC settings of the first card is constantly returning to default values when overclocked to the values above (the others are running fine). When I OC it back I see graphic artefacts on my screen. I lowered the OC of that card to +120/+550 and its running fine now, however, I noticed in the miner that the GPU0 (assuming its this one) is hashing significantly lower than the others (

For example if I am running Neoscrypt, 3 cards do close to 1100 hashes, but the "bad" one only around 750...other times it does around 1040 (which would basically equal the slightly lower OC settings). Same for the NIST5 algo (3 cards do around 54 mh/s each and the "bad" one 52).
I noticed a weird thing as well, when the PC is idle, something is putting stress to the GPU. When I open the afterburner, the GPU clock and MEM clock are on high numbers (like during mining), but on the other cards are down. The temp of the "bad" GPU (only when idle) is also like 15 C higher than the other cards.
My questions are:
1) What could be causing the stress on the GPU? I made sure I am using the integrated CPU adapter for my screen in BIOS. I am also running teamviewer to control the rig from my main PC, is it possible something has to be set there?
2) Is it normal that the temp of the cards are different during mining? (anywhere between 70-80 C).
3) Why are the GPUs going up to 80 C despite setting the temp limit to 72?
4) How is it possible I see graphic artefacts on screen when overclocking a GPU that is not set as default adapter for my screen?
I am sorry for longer post, but Ill be grateful for any help.
