Thanks, but what I mean is how do transactions get confirmed if there are no "blocks" to put them in? Is there a concept of how many confirmations a transaction has?

Yeah that doesn't really answer my question about transaction confirmations. It's really not that simple. Networks like semux have transaction finality after 1 confirmation. Other DAG based system are naturally more parallel. From the descriptions given so far it's kinda hard to see what, if any, advantages cheatcoin has.
