ICO is an acronym for Initial Coin Offering.  It is a method on which funds are raised for new currency ventures.  It is also called coin creation or coin launching.  It is sold for investors who want to support the project in exchange of rights or legal tender of cryptocurrencies.   ICO are usually introduced into public together with the whitepaper explaining everything and all about a certain projects.  In ICO, tokens are offered in exchange to cryptocurrency such a bitcoin or ether or flat.  The fund gathered will be used for the implementation of the project.  In return, the tokens that was given to the investors will serve as their investment on the project where they can also sell it after the ICO if they want but the value is much higher compared to its value during ICO .
