Any ideas, guys, why coinmarketcap and worldcoinindex show different market cap for Geo?
It's about $10.7mln on worldcoinindex and $26.6mln on coinmarketcap (when the price is about $7.9)
There's a difference in Circulating Supply on these sites.
But wich is the correct number?
If you check explorer it says "Outstanding: 3,380,746 GEO" -
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/geo/Therefore coinmarketcap number seems more accurate, but during swap wallets that are not located on bittrex/cryptopia (cryptopia to be confirmed) will not be included therefore new blockchain is likely to consist of lower number of coins/tokens. Although it may change as developers announced plans to allow manual swaps past the official swap date which could result in supply spikes in the future (should not be too significant as only about 1m coins are not on exchanges at this time).
