This person is right. We all should check the wallet addresses and see if our coins did move.
My coins have indeed been moved yesterday, about 2h before the update started.
If you are not sure how to check here is the way to check deposit address:
Open up the wallet you used to send your bitcoin, this can even be an other exchange, web wallet, ledger nano or anything. Find the transaction you made to kraken and get your wallet address.
go to blockchain.info and enter your DEPOSIT krakens wallet address.

2 days really isn't good, not just that you keep saying "several more hours" in the updates giving false hope. Either give definite times or don't give times at all.
