updateWe will be working through the weekend to get the site back up as soon as possible. Yes, this upgrade is for our trading engine which will reduce the amount of 5xx errors. It is taking so long because we want to make sure the upgrade is rolled out safely.
As for that update, we fully understand the serious nature of this upgrade. Our dev team was working for 20+ hours straight at the time of that post, and may have been a result of sleep depravation.
Source? It is not posted on https://status.kraken.com/ and neither on https://twitter.com/krakenfx.It is one of the kraken problem to my mind ... They don't know communicate ....
it would have been so simple to send an email to each customer 48 hours before the update to give time to those who wish to close their position, and to indicate in this mail common to all where to get the most recent information (status. kraken or site or reddit or... but just 1).
With these 2 simple actions I am convinced that 70% of people would not complain, would not be worried, and would not make for some not run corridor noises on the forums.
Instade of update info on their site, or their status.kraken .... It's to us to look for info, to investigate to found the info we want ....
What i think about this update :
more the time go on and less they give (or try to) ETA, and here they just say certainly the site don't come up this weekend .... For an update given for 2 hours ....
It isn't only the com who don't work correctly at my mind ...
