I personally had to pay 5% extra to go from cash to bitcoins for my chip order, which was almost $100 premium and it took some time to do. That plus the bitpay exchange rate used would leave me short funds for a whole board or more. I don't think Paypal isn't the best exchange, I prefer google checkout, but bitcoin is not as easy to buy when the better payment methods start getting taken away by the government.
