i sell when i fell price will go down. it is better to start trading with bitcoin more than just simple holding.
you say you buy when price was 12k and will wait (2-4) years for bitcoin to break 250,000$ (if this happen) this is only about 20 multiply price which can happen easy with altcoins.
Just hold btc if the price today drops before, if selling at the price that its not hit your target you will not be satisfied of. Hold until you can earn profit of bitcoin so still depends on your plan to sell.
