The D-Link DUB-H7 definitely works with 6 units on the Pi, there's a guy who was running 30+ erupters with the D-Link hubs, he posted it on Reddit with a cool 3D printed enclosure.

Anyways as a reference I also have a D-Link hub and it's running off my Pi without issues.
