I do not know why they say gold is better than bitcoin, while bitcoin transactions are spreading in their midst.
My speculation, maybe they do not know bitcoin or do not know how to use bitcoin, when in fact they admit that bitcoin is better than gold.
In terms of value, gold is more valuable than bitcoins but the down side is that, Not everyone can really afford to earn gold since it was very expensive unlike in bitcoins that you can work anytime on bounty campaigns and earn altcoins in return.
Gold is physical and they find this as a proof of value. They oppose bitcoin because they think bitcoin is vurtual. There is no other explanation about their behaviour against bitcoin.
