It is working, you must enter your phone number and the country code ! "+" and "country code" and "phone number (without the 0).
for example a german phone number: 01511 44556677
german country code: 49

number like +49151144556677 does not work for me, only +49
0151144556677 works for me and i get the sms, but on the profile page it does show as +49151144556677 without the zero.
