72 degrees is fine for a GPU.

Is the card on the 'end' of your rig? Basically, the coolest air / cards are on the 'open' end with fans pulling in fresh air, but as you move along the rig, some hot air from the previous card gets pulled in. Generally, the cards will get hotter from open fan end to the other end, even with good spacing.

Other than that, try using compressed air on the radiator in case it's a bit dusty? Maybe the thermal paste isn't as effective on this card so could replace that if you know how, but honestly, it's not worth it in my opinion.

Also, the best way to deal with heat is to exhaust the hot air away from the cards and outside. This is more effective than blowing cool air onto the cards.
