Can anyone tell me why there was a count down to the release of a coin that has been released since 2016?

Excited about the opportunities of Enigma, but seems necessary to stop people being able to deposit on yobit while this problem is resolved. Shouldn't be down to the user to make sure that when XNG is listed on an exchange it is actually functioning properly.
