Wake me up when you can transfer $1 billion worth of gold for $2 in ~10 minutes from any to any location of the world. 
Bitcoin is not better than anything because it is not created to compete with the current money system. Cryptocurrency is created to have more available methods that are more efficient in online transactions. Please stop the arguments between crypto and fiat because without the other, the online market will never be the same.
