I use an old Mac with Yosemite and the new wallet work; I would like to setup a MN on a VPS. Will it work with 5000 new coins before the swap?

wow this is a big one. do you really want to run masternode on a machine that can be rooted in under 5 minutes? people think masternodes adding more security. i see only sweet access points like this one
