Just curious. I'm hoping (and I'll use the word hope, because who really knows?) for at least 500% on btc and 1500% on eth.

It depends.Are you a HODLer or a day trader?
If you are a HODLer,do you mean that you expect the btc price to reach 65K USD and the eth price to reach 15K USD?This is way too optimistic.I expect the ethereum price to increase by 100% and go above 2K USD,but i`m not an optimist about bitcoin.Too many negative news coming from China and lots of FUD will push the btc price down.
If you are a day trader,your ROI expectations depend on your own skills.

It is good to be optimistic but of course we should also be dealing with reality. We all want Bitcoin and Ethereum for that matter to be growing in value as much as possible but issues can always pull them down. The market can easily be swayed by baseless news and opinions and this kind of thing has been going on for a long time that I sometimes get tired hearing them. I don't think it is possible for Eth to reached as high as 15K anytime soon...maybe in 5 or more years. As to Bitcoin, there is a big possibility for a little bull run within this first quarter but gains can easily be erased due to many lingering concerns which I am hoping can be solved soon.
Yup, There are certain resistance that we might face and no body can predict the outcome of each coin but let's just hope there are a positive things that might happen to both bitcoin and ETH, Because right now there are certain problems affecting the price and some Altcoins had been affected by the bearish movement of bitcoin.
