I am currently wondering what FUD is going around that has driven the value so low at the moment because am not seeing any at all as of this moment. Could the abnormal transactions fees also be a factor as well.
It's not just bitcoin but most cryptos seem to have taken a big hit. There's always going to be uncertainty surrounding bitcoin as it rises just as much as it falls due to speculation on it and people always panic even on the whiff of some bad news that may or may not turn out to be true, but the big news (or unnecessary panic) seems to be from South Korea proposing a ban on crypto exchanges:
