I like very much bitcoin, but... some gold in my possession would be good for safety :-)
Gold is quite a good option, and it has been, dont know if I should say the best or one of the best stocks around, before bitcoin was introduced. But for now, since people are very much interested in making money, everyone will be likely to choose the stock that is best for them. So if Gold makes a very good choice for you, then go for it.
