Just to be sure.
I have some sonm coins on binance.
Do I simple sent them to my myetherwallet adress or do I need to do something else?
I have some experience with major coins but haven't sent tokens before.

yes, SNM is an ERC20 token. This means you can keep them in ETH wallets (first do a google search if your wallet is ERC20 compatible, because some aren't).
myetherwallet is compatible. However, in order to send the tokens out from myetherwallet you need to activate them, i think (google can help with this as well).
