The transaction fees and times for bitcoin make it unusable as a currency, which render it near worthless. Its intrinsic value should be less than 1% of what it is now, and the only reason it would not be zero would be the hope that they somehow solve all of bitcoin's scaling issues such that it can handle transactions on the scale of Visa or Mastercard (about 200x as many transactions per second as it gets now).
