Hey guys, i am pretty new to the whole bitcoin/crypto stuff and learned alot last week ;-) I mined for 24 hours with an S3+ (of course without solving a block).
What do you think, now that the bitcoin <-> money exchange rate is falling, will there be a time any soon, when those big miners stop their work, so that the chances to find a block with smaller/older hardware will get into a realistic range? Or will mining with, lets say 1Th/s, stay at more or less zero chances?
Anyways, good luck all solo miners ;-)
Not much will change, the price will climb back up.... people won't shut down their miners knowing the price will increase at some point, just like the stock market. I checked btc.com and its estimated to still jump 15 percent in difficulty in 8 days.
Doesn't matter what you mine with, there is always a chance of finding the block. It was only a few months ago that a S5 found a large block on the pool here with over 17 bitcoin. So keep on mining. People win the lottery all the time when they only buy one ticket...
