This is probably a little off topic, so feel free to ignore if you this annoys you. 

In US - bitcoin betting operations  is in the grey area leaning towards "illegal".
In UK - they are seen as tokens, so they might be legal. I think!

What about India?


Nothing specific from India.

Gambling is illegal in all states apart from Sikkim and Goa and then too with stringent laws.

However, nothing is maintained about online gambling, especially with decentralized virtual currencies.

The servers for the game have been hosted in Iceland however, just to be on the safe side.

I don't think this is a gray area. If you pay a prostitute in Bitcoin, or pay supari in Bitcoin, that would'nt mean it's legal.

If it is legal, I'm going straight into IPL/other cricket related betting!
