Because all the paupers who want to get rich off a shitcoin without any real work won’t be able to do that with a proper coin like Monero and then they’ll also tell you that it’s all about ‘mobile mining’ and free airdropped currency - at least if they tell enough people they’ll start to believe it and then the hype fuels further hype.
