Cryptos will become a fringe plaything. Most law abiding citizens will choose to follow the rules, even if they don't make sense. Like Jamie Dimon said, Bitcoin will be used by criminals and libertarians and nobody else.
It is not like we have major adoption yet either and only a handful of countries have banned bitcoin, so at this time I do not think bitcoin will be that affected by a ban, and once the rest of the citizens begin to adopt bitcoin they will have no option but to regulate it or they risk that many of those citizens decide to keep their bitcoin anyway.
