When Mt. Gox finally comes back online the price will fluxuate a bit and then stablilize and all will be well in the bitcoin economy. Frankly I HOPE Mt. Gox stays online because it represents another source of competition which is good for the bitcoin economy. Without it what would happen is One of the exchanges would get cozy in their spot and start ripping people off.
