There are tons and tons of bitcoin exchanges that accepts dollars to bitcoin exchanges. At least you can start trading there. All you have to do to increase your bitcoins is to sell previous bitcoin profit. Hold cash. Wait for bitcoin price crash. Buy with previous bitcoins profits. Then wait for price up. Easy profits.
