What if we use instead the ASCII of small numbers in a circle (or parenthesis for older 7-bits ASCII)?
0.013 -> (1)13 -> ①13
0.0013 -> (2)13 -> ②13
1.0013 -> 1.(2)13 -> 1.②13
Where (n) would still read as "n zeros"
I like the graphic version that simply feel like a "zero" with a multiplier inside.
