Of course not. You have to set up limits and never gamble with your living money.
Not everyone can say that kind of intention because their passion is to play and profit from gambling and they find it hard to stop, in my opinion. There are people who can't stop themselves and in the end, it's going to make you less rich or broke.
These kinds of people want to earn easy money instead of work hard to earn money. They also know that they are doing a mistake but instead of controlling they just blame it on addiction and lose whatever they have it.
