this can be ignored, wonder if i can make a updated wallet to remove it, its quite annoying....
I'm having a go at #IFDEFing out the alert code now. The basic daemon compiles cleanly, but the QT client (Windows) may take a bit more work.
edit: compile successful, just giving everything a quick test before releasing the new client.
