UPDATE: After I exposed Phenixcoin in the official thread, it seems the developers are finally taking my advice and will be cutting the block reward too. Yesterday their stance on this was:
"Don't get me wrong i understand why everyone is pissed. But we did what we seen we needed to do and now its done."

But after my big post they all of a sudden chagned their mind: "We understand your concerns, your voice is heard loud and clear.  Our upcoming release will reduce the reward by half."
