If it's named after a scam, why would you assume it is safe? Definitely another ponzi scheme and definitely a scam, do not invest you will lose your money
Yes, I don't know why people are still investing in this ponzi scheme. BitConnect already failed to keep their site (lending boot) running but still they are seeking for millions of dollars in an ICO investment. Be careful with this guys. Don't throw your hard earned money on this Ponzi scheme.
