If some cryptocurrency devs do want to list their token on Bancor exchange-they need to buy Bancor as reserve.May be I do not understand something right,but looks like it is so.

Your understanding is correct. Acquiring BNT to function as a connector is a necessary prerequisite to integrating a token with the Bancor Network.
