As a rare visitor to the altcoin forum, I am mildly intrigued by the idea of this thread. I second EletricMucus' suggestion of starting with the least novel/lowest effort coins. Although I suppose that doesn't narrow it down that much  

I also agree with those demanding less huff-puffing, more slaying
