Please go ahead make the rig in aluminum stick. Wooden will not be works better for long time. vibration issue may comes all the time in Wooden rig.
You need to build a solid rig frame. since sometimes we need to set GPU fan speed to 100% to keep your cards at a normal temperature. So it will increase vibrations at your cards.
