I've never understood this kind of advices. Why both? Why to make losing a part of your money in the future a certain thing? Do some research and then make your investment. If you are still not sure then invest only a part of your money but don't invest in both. Make a decision. Of course you should do it after considering the options you have, but you have to make a decision.
