If they paid in BTC they should get a refund in BTC, THE SAME DAMN AMOUNT. You are defending something ABSURD. I wonder if things were the other way around would they give him MORE bitcoin to repay the amount in USD? i doubt it very much

Its clear that the nominal BTC value changes - most of these Crypto payment providers even transform the Cryptos directly into the dollar amount at the time of payment.

You guys must be new to mining. This is how things are done: in USD value at the time of purchase is your refund amount.
