I guess it is possible to buy fake tokens, but if you verify the contract number, you should be safe. This link works:

Search for "Token Contract Address" to verify it independently.

I highly doubt those are fake tokens. Remember all those tokens are on the blockchain, the only thing I'm worried about is the exchange from ETH to whatever token. The worst thing that can happen is when you buy the coins but it does not show up in your wallet.
