There is already a physical bitcoin which is a hardware wallet. 
I remember hearing a while back about someone who actually did created a few physical bitcoin.
As far as I can remember, that was fake or just for fancy. Well, maybe hardware wallet company will create a coin like hardware wallet with bitcoin logo on it in the future. Your thought can be the trigger for it.
