This makes sense, but to avoid wasting sMerits - which should be used to support helpful community members to raise in rank - it would still be good to either reject the reward to legendaries, or maybe don't subtract the given sMerits in that case.
I disagree. Not all legendaries are equal, and Merit points may finally be that which was needed to make the difference more clear.
